Resolution Through Evolution

This is a time of change. It is the catalyst for evolution, a time to grow, to learn, to look within and without and to see all of what is happening around us. 

Do you ever wonder why the same issues arise over and over again? It’s God’s way of getting us to pay attention and learn from all that is happening in our lives.

Taking the good with the bad is necessary. Without hard times, we would not be able to see the value in happiness. Struggles appear in all shapes and forms, and no one is immune. Though it may seem like someone else has it easier, you don’t know his or her story.

Oftentimes, comparisons are hard to avoid. Your neighbor has more money than you, success seems to come easier to them, and luck is always at their doorstep. However, you haven’t walked in their shoes. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors, or what they have had to endure in their lifetime?

Everyone is meant to walk different paths in life, and everyone serves their own purpose. Just as your neighbor has his or her mission, you have your own, and his road is not yours. Comparisons will only bring negativity.

Some people have everything yet have nothing. They boast only of materialism, and hardly anything of value that will sustain them in the long run.

Then, there are those who have nothing, but everything. Though without the latest fashions or gadgets, even without modern homes and money, they possess the love of a lifetime. They are truly rich. Rich with the love we all aspire and dream of, that which we hope and pray for.

What you choose to see as wealth and happiness is dependent on perspective. What lens will you choose to view the world through? How will you decide to think? Change your view and you will be amazed what else will change around you.
